At this point I’d be more enraged by the sight of it than disgusted. He’s got Phineas’ memories at this point. Gore should make him react less than knowing he’s dealing with someone who’s hurt his best friend.
How’d she get it out so CLEANLY??? He made it sound like it was a sudden, slash, scoop, gush, and its done, but an eye is MUCH too fragile to likely have been removed like that without squishing it.
Also, she’s not that kind of psycho. She’s proven that in this conversation. My bet? She drugged him and she then CAREFULLY removed it with some medical training she’s picked up around her father’s lab technicians, then waited for him to mostly come out of it to stand over him make him think like she had physically overcome him by her own strength and maimed him her self, when he would have easily stopped her if she hadn’t been so treacherous.
I have the spoon that was used to do it. I also have the stone they used to sharpen the spoon. ;) Also, it’s cute seeing her apologize for doing something she finds annoying.
I’ve a hunch that he trusts her brother most, NOT primarily because he’s a man, but because it sounds like he may be the child who’s turned out to be the most SANE. He probably got away because his baby sisters scared the crap out of him, more than anything.
I knew she kept his eye as a trophy, but I didn’t know she kept it *on her desk*. I wonder if she fidgets with it when she’s nervous or uses it as a conversation piece.
Also guessing Eugene is the normal one in the family.
Wonder where Herville’s seen that eye before?
I love his expression when he gets a good look at the eye.

So many updates; what a treat! Finding Eliza more and more relatable by the day…
I want to meet her brother. Also, Doc, take the eyeball. Do iiiiit
She kept it???
I vaguely recall someone mentioning she had it put in a paperweight or something like that
Good memory: Abel mentioned it

You’re way overthinking this. My comic’s kinda cartoony anyway, it doesn’t need to be 100% realism.
also no one will ever guess how his eyeball was actually removed, not in a million years. >:D

yeah he’s just a standard trust fund kid, instagram style influencer, clean living guru. He sucks actually. But he’s not murderous.
Does their timeline also sport our social media behemoths, or did they dodge that bullet?
You know I haven’t decided yet
I would trade facebook for “a mad scientist and his army of fungi zombies rules over the wastelands of what was formerly Chicago” any day, personally.
Actually, eyeballs are sturdier than you’d think they’d be. Have you ever tried to dissect one?
Uh … no … why do you ask?
I was trying to reply to the “How did she get it out so cleanly” question, sorry.
Agreed, those things are almost like rubber balls!
A year ago, Herville was criticizing the concept of a female assistant. Funny symmetry there.
