That living room background is ASTOUNDING. I like how the kitty talks about Great-Grandpa like…you know, it’s HIS Great-Grandpa.
But most of all…I love that last panel. I … I…D’aww, poor Dr Schtein! I don’t know, it’s fun to see his insecurityness when he’s so grumpy in other areas of life.
Is it just the reflection, or does Dr Schtein honestly see himself as normal colored in the mirror concidering his eyes. I’ve been reading a while and know it took later to get his eyes were red, but in the mirror it doesn’t even have black around where the whites would be.

There there, Dr. Schtein, don’t blame your looks. It’s your abhorrent personality that she doesn’t like!
Also I think the second-to-last panel is the cutest picture of the cat. LOOK AT HIS LITTLE FACE.
The cat is love. Does he (she?) have a name?
Nice to see Schtein is not just a grumpy jerk*. Yay character depth!
(* I guess that means I enjoy him being miserable from time to time… xD )
Now I want to know who was mucking around with the science to make a talking cat exist.
Also if the mad biologists have a rivalry with the mad physicists or something. Yessssss.
http://stringtheory.nfshost.com/?p=16 It was Dr. Schtein himself. He kept the least grossly mutated one for himself. It doesn’t seem to be aging.
i adore that kitty!
I can’t wait for Orville to appear in the comic.. :D
Love the hand gesture in Panel 1.

Yeah, it’s sort of a reflection of how he sees himself, or wishes he still looked.
Every re-read of the archives yields interesting stuff now that we’re into the third chapter! :O
And it’s scenes like this that really make me like Schtein. Yeah, he’s a sexist jerk but he’s got this softer side too.
I love the presence of that dead flower on the mantle. It just says something about the occupant. I’m not sure what, but it says something.
