Guns aren’t gross, and laurence probably keeps his pretty clean. But yeah he’s too pissed to be thinking about his own comfort right now or uh, that serial killer he should really be keeping an eye on
He is very loyal and caring about his family. Understand that loyalty and caring does not stop him from hacking them into little bits and putting them back together. I mean the down side of human experimentation is death and other horrible things but it wasn’t done out of evil malice. How else do you expect to get shit done? His definition of “harm” and “endanger” and other such words that people likely say he did and does to his family are slightly different.
it’s a call back to that page where he was pleading with robert to let him keep experimenting on herville. It’s not concern it’s “Let me please keep unethically screwing with your son’s genes!” Q_Q
I kind of hoped Schtein might spare him, but those words are a death warrant. Don’t you know better than to beg for clemency on the last panel of the page?
I completely and utterly adore how perfectly Super Villain panel four is. Schtein + lab coat + angry face + fiery background of rage fueled vengeance is what I’m here for!
No, Darius, please don’t refer to Phineas as god. His ego is massive enough. :<
I think it's darkly hilarious that Schtein interrupted Darius getting punished for his life of slime. I can't help wondering what would have happened if Phineas hadn't attacked and they had dealt with Darius together… On second thought, I'm glad we don't have to see that.
I know I have a lot of old men in my comic but that guy’s name is Gregory Jessup, Darius is the old man with the long hair who owns the company that busted doc out of jail :)
You see the man Phineas is wanting information from is not the guy in the chair, it’s Thanatos (Darius). I should have not had him refer to him by first name I guess (though they are on a first name familiarity being in-laws), but plot wise it was sorta vague and confusing.
A very christmas-y sweater at that! I see those snowflakes.
Man you know he is pissed when he doesn’t care that his bare hand is touching that gun. Herville do you know how filthy that gun probably is? >:I

Isn’t Orvillen supposed to be the evil one? He looks so concerned in panel 3. Maybe he’s not evil she just has fucked up motives

Well said.

THERE IS NO GOD
*shoots*

I’d say leaving him there would be far worse than any kind of death by a gun.
Prediction: Doctor Dadkiller sees someone behind Stein (and off panel).
Prediction2: They aren’t here to save him.
So Phineas finally woke up?
That was my first thought, but I think he’s down for the count for the remainder of this scene/chapter.
It’s probably Laurence
I mean if you prefer he could leave you here! :D
I’m sure Herville just wants to get back to discussing his own career and meaning of life. He was just doing it two pages ago, after all.

I just realized the mixup probably happened here and it’s my fault: http://www.stringtheorycomic.com/comics/chapter-seven/chp7-page-74/

Ha! I’m still embarrassed, I’m terrible with names and that’s the exact page I mistook it from. Thank you for the detailed correction though!
