You have such great characters. Watching them interact is such a treat! The only challenge with the weekly update format is that I’ve kind of forgotten why they’re all here. Is Schtein just here to drink some brains and learn new skills? Is that what he’s doing? Do we know that yet?
I have a friend who keeps tabs on a bunch of webcomics, including this one, and he basically comes back to his list once in half a year and does exactly that. I just reread the chapter whenever there’s an update. :P
Father-in-law? Has this particular aspect been mentioned before and I’ve forgotten it? Because if his father-in-law is who I think it is, then… his… wife… Oh God.

yes it sucks how slow the updates are. You could just reread the chapter though. Takes like a minute :D
But to answer your question he hasn’t really said WHY he’s there at all.

The wait will prove worth it in the end, when the story is complete, each page drawn with such care and attention afforded by the update schedule :)
SCHNOZZ TO SCHNOZZ COMBAT
Yep! They’re getting quite intimate here, aren’t they?
3 hoorays for releassing a psychopatic serial killer into the wild! Hip-hip… No just me?
I agree, they’re not friends.
They’re MORE than friends. They’re prison buddies.
Their dialogue is almost so nice it makes me cringe XD
I’m relieved that Phin’s isn’t a “slash first ask questions later guy”…
Well, except during the prison escape >>

His wife is named Denise, she’s Eliza’s older sister
Ah, that *was* a while ago. OK.
What, they’re the best of friends, they’re blood-spatter buddies.
It’s a minor thing, but the “magic” line coupled with his expression is great. Really fits the character.
