Too bad Langstrom wasn’t genetically merged with a cockroach. Have him very slowly mutate into a nigh unkillable, human-flesh eating monster. A monster that eventually chows down on his psychopathic warden of a sister. Chows down veeery slowly.
Stein still thought that Langstrom was dead, but Delia had already told Langstrom that Stein was alive.
It makes sense why Langstrom looks more uncomfortable and downcast, while Stein is shocked and frightened.
I’d imagine that one of the things Stein would be feeling is anger. Considering he was tried for Langstrom’s ‘murder’ and ended up in a prison where Langstrom’s sister tried to murder Stein, seeing his ‘supposed victim’ standing in front of him, alive, would make him a little piqued.
Poor Doc, first emotional whiplash then the whiplash Langstrom’s gonna gives him with his new hands!
Hey, its that other guy who survived an explosion created by Stein that messed up his eye(s).
Ah. Herv might be about to cash a check for a schnoz punch he wrote a LONG time ago.
Oh hey! It’s so nice when old friends get together :)
Well, whoopsie.
Oh hey Langstrom, you are looking human again! Could’ve been so much worse…. at least you weren’t genetically merged with a housefly…

Thinking about it, maybe it’d be more karmic if Langstrom and his sister became some of Dr. Orville von Schtein’s test subjects.
In the 17 years since he was first seen he’s changed so much…he doesn’t even have a tie!
I may be remembering wrong, but didn’t Langstrom and Stein think the other was dead?

Sorry, I forgot that Stein was never tried, instead Langstrom’s sister faked his death.
whatever I thought of this page before,
