Probably, Schtein…probably. The fifth panel and the background in the first are really great, by the way. Oh, and I hate to be nit picky and horrible, but didn’t Schtein actually require cleaning up the page before last? Just, you know, so the clean up line makes more sense you might want to tack on those details…again, sorry! This is still amazing.
agh goddamnit I was reminding myself the ENTIRE TIME I was drawing this to not forget to make him look all messy again. ARGH. You know what I will fix this RIGHT NOW rather than procrastinating. :C
Your ability to actually follow through with “not procrastinating” is pretty commendable: that’s a rare find. Anyway, now he looks ever more dejected in panel five, if that’s possible.
Oh my god she even looks like Langstrom. Square head and nasty smile and everything >< I think Schtein's face in the second to last panel sums things up pretty well: "Really? Really??"
That serious fellow in the line up is such a different style than everyone else… Makes me wonder if he’s perhaps someone real caricatured into the comic.
Aww, panel 5 is adorable! Also, I don’t know if you (or anyone here) has seen Red Dwarf, but in it there is a briefly occurring character Dr. Hildegarde Lanstrom. She is an insane hologram, with such classic lines as “Life without pain has no meanink. Gentlemen, I vish to geev your lives…meanink”, and “Tvinkle tvinkle, little eye, now it’s time for you to die!”
Basically what I’m saying here is that all I can think whenever I see the name Lanstrom is that woman’s awful specFX ‘hex vision’, and Arnold Rimmer in a red and white checked gingham dress (and army boots).
Anyone who hasn’t seen Red Dwarf, it’s the episode Quarantine. Youtube it. It’s totally worth it.
Also that woman reminds me somewhat of that evil warden-woman from Holes. In a good way, I swear!
Schtein’s pose/expression in the third panel is *absolutely* catlike. And he looks so wretched in the fifth panel it’s even cute.
Also, I bet Langstrom didn’t actually die, and disguised himself as a female warden just to creep out Schtein. Deep inside, we all know this whole issue is just an innocent prank.
Hey, I just noticed that the scary serious dude is missing from the previous comic, and the guy in the green shirt from the previous comic is not in this page…. Are they off panel? Also, where did the blond haired guy come from….??

O.O Langstrom?! Agh!
I think Murphy’s Law is in effect, except that, around Schtein, it becomes something more like Murphy’s Aura…everything that can go wrong will…to him.
This comic = awesome.
Yes, it seems that those of the Langstrom line are destined to cause Schtein mental anguish.
Not just mental. I’m pretty sure this one wants to get physical. *snicker/sad*
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly >:(
oh shit I think Schtein is in for a world of pain
Langstrom reencarnated! The horror!
ohhhhhhhh shoot!
Oh my god she even looks like Langstrom. Square head and nasty smile and everything >< I think Schtein's face in the second to last panel sums things up pretty well: "Really? Really??"
Langstrom? Of all the… heh. I wonder if she knows how other Langstrom died…
Poor Schtein. I mean, kill a few people and the whole world’s out to get you.
I really like his expression on the second to last panel there.
I bet that’s Langstrom’s mother.
I’m starting to like that cranky guy with brown hair. He’s going to go all explodey, I can feel it.
OH SHIT
I KNEW I recognized that smirk!
And suddenly, things have gotten from bad to worse to the world wants Schtein to wish he was never conceived
Langstrom in drag! As if Schtein didn’t have enough problems with women.
I love his expression in the fifth panel. Langstrom? Ho snap, cranky evil moma is after you!
YAAAAAAAAAAY A LANGSTROMFACE
I took one look at her and went “Ohshi-! Boss Woman!” And that second to last bubble made it even scarier. O_O
Oh gads they look exactly like each other D: The horror.
That serious fellow in the line up is such a different style than everyone else… Makes me wonder if he’s perhaps someone real caricatured into the comic.
I saw her on your devart page and my first thought was that she looked like Langstrom– but I assumed it was just a coincidence. Haha, I guess not!

Haha! I had completely forgotten about THAT Dr. Langstrom. As a series over all, it’s a great watch.
Huh. I don’t remember that episode at all. I think I subconsciously ganked the name from a batman character, actually.
So the last name Langstrom is not a pun on the unit of measurement Angstrom?
I’m afraid I’m not that clever.
D8 !!!!!!!

So, a friend of mine linked this to me last night and it is totally amazing! So yeah, keep on rocking in the free world!
LOOOOOOOVE!
AWWWWWW is the sound I made when I discovered that it was a LANGSTROM omg, plot points!
HO SNAP
Beckey, the warden is scary *shaken with fear*
I love Mr. Sideburns!
That face has Langstrom all over it. She also reminds me of Miss Trunchbull from Matilda.
It’s the bun and the stockiness, I’m sure. She makes me think of Pearl Forrester.
Oh sh– he’s in for it now.
Hey, I just noticed that the scary serious dude is missing from the previous comic, and the guy in the green shirt from the previous comic is not in this page…. Are they off panel? Also, where did the blond haired guy come from….??
He is not. He’s like the only guy that’s been on everypage of the entrance to the prison.
Huh, I wonder why I thought he wasn’t there…. :D
What about the other two?
