Honestly, I get that there are people out there who can work with that kind of mentality, but it’d feel like a bit of a cop-out in regards to the story itself.
Like, Langstrom. Dude. Schtein is the reason you’re the way you are. You don’t have limbs, you don’t have ears, you don’t even have eyebrows. You’re allowed to want to murder the guy!
Well considering that this comic is a super-villain origin story, then that would make Langstorm – the nemesis – a… superhero? In which case it’s less surprising that he’s the forgiving one.
i love the cut from the first panel to the second! it feels kinda, idk, cinematic?? same with the second to last one. the detail on his chest on the last panel is great too!
just wanted to tell you that that second panel is hot as hell, probably just like the angle and the lighting make that scene look significantly more sexy than it was in reality, woof. nice job showing delia’s internal view of it!
I was going to write “second panel is so cute I wanna die” but I think “hot as hell” way more accurately expresses what I was really thinking. Good call on the internal view idea; looking at it that way is verrry telling on Delia’s part and I love it.
Oh well that explains the pulse thing. For a guy who nearly died and who lost most of his limbs… he’s pretty chipper.
… why is that worrying me so much.
Could just be a “I almost died, I don’t have time to be petty, got to live life!”

Well, he was just talking about getting revenge on him, or kicking his ass not two pages ago, then he found out his sister had gotten hold of him.
What she did to him was probably far worse than what he was going to do. So we come back to the “He was punished, I am still alive, time to move on.”
he has ears, they’re just healing from being reconstructed right now.

The birth of Magneto!
Panel 3 is my favourite panel of all the panels that ever panelled.
I missed the “steps-no-nowhere” first time I looked.

Agghhh Dr. Schtein is such a sexy f*cker
Well, the adjective is up for debate. Delia thinks so.
But *everybody* agrees with the noun.
Keep that man away from the hard drives!
D’awwww Benjamin is so likable now.
