Well. That’s disappointing. I thought he had done some good ol’ straight up villainy and killed a guy on Ch.7p.40 (http://www.stringtheorycomic.com/comics/chapter-seven/chp7-page-40). So disappointed this wasn’t the case. Alright boys, pack up and go home. No villainy metamorphosis to see here.
Schtein is wearing that brand of glasses that becomes tinted in the sunlight isn’t he? As practical at that is for his light sensitivity, I still find it ridiculously nerdy~
I have worn photogray glasses for years, and I think it really helped me delay cataracts into my 60’s…so nerdy or not, get them! As a Florida native I had a lot of high sunshine exposure, and it really makes a difference in glare. They don’t change at night so they don’t stop road glare, but daytime they are optimal.
Panel 3 umg dem faces doe
I absolutely idolize your facial expressions, Grundy. The story is phenomenal, too, but those faces <3
I second this. I could look at their expressions for hours.
Aw, thank you
Whoa and here I thought he’d killed that guy.
I wonder if that means the Chicago Liberation Front is still alive too?
Define alive. I’m sure Grandpa found some kind of use for them.
He did say he left them alive. Beyond that, though…
Clearly in no way ominous.
I thought he’d brain-drained that guy. If not a complete mindwipe, ya’d think he’d at least have made it so the guy wouldn’t remember him clearly.
I’m not sure that’s part of his skill set. Then again, I might have forgotten something.
LOL!! This is great. I love Jessup’s reaction to the grandfather being alive.

He’s not a murderer.

He is yeah. They’re so dorky but I want a pair!
Reactive lenses – Virtually doubled the price of glasses but I wear a pair myself since my eyes dislike daylight, I’ve been such a cave dweller.
Oh, one downside, even indoors your lenses can make things seemingly darker and harder to see since there is still a tiny amount of tinting going on!
They never worked out for me. I tried them in my 20s and they just wound up making me irritable. OK, “more” irritable.
He is REALLY shit at this whole mad science thing. How does he not have a nigh endless string of back up plans in place?
cut him some slack he’s still new at it. He’s only been out of prison for a few months, and prior to that he was a law abiding (sort of) citizen

I am Glad He is not a murderer.
Thank you Mr Grundy.
I know others have mentioned it, but good grief the faces are nicely done in this one.
i love schtein’s expressions ! It’s funny how he is less intimidating without the glowy red eyes xD
