Oh yeah. Totally unimpressive and useless power. No way in hell he could ever cause any lasting harm to anyone.
Able is fortunate that he’s more experienced than Schtein and Schtein is still/was still a ‘baby’/’newbie’ I’m thinking.
More like Schtein knows he cannot defeat the entire troop of goons on old man death’s pay list. So appearing to be harmless is the best course to be ignored and live to gather a position to ensure unilateral victory.
Duuuuude. I love Schtein’s glowing eye and how he just sneaks behind the bearded dude and…..”DUN, DUN, DUNNNNN!” and after that, you can totally hear Shao Kahn saying, “Fatality! Hahahahaaaaaa!!”
I know it’s his powers but for a second I thought his hands were all dirty, like doc please wash ur hands or keep your gloves on lmao. But also how does that work?? Do the powers, like, draw blood/pigment/whatever away from his fingers? Is this the same reason grampa Schtein looks all green, or is that because of zombie virus exposure, or he just old-man-colored? Are his eye color and his power colors at all related or is that just a fortunate coincidence plot-wise?? How loud is it to burn a hole in someody’s head with your hands?? so many questions.
Orville’s green because he exposed himself to a version of his own fungi virus so he wouldn’t die in chicago. So, not a zombie per-say, just undead.
I bet if Schtein could see what his powers do his hands he wouldn’t be happy about., ‘Oh god they look dirty n-nooo’ I have no interest in trying to explain the look of his powers beyond ‘that’s how you know something real creppy is happening’ but other people can play the fake science behind superpowers game all they want, ahah. :D
The eye colors and power colors are a coincidence in universe, outside of universe, I just like color matchin’. Abel’s purple, Cain’s gold. Do the colors have meanings? Hmm I dunno.
There’s also a handful of other alts wandering around with super powers, though, we’ve only seen the snot man’s stuff just yet, and a few glimpses on security monitors in that flash back during Delia’s chapter, but they’re more elemental powered and not like cain or abel or schtein, who have psychic powers.
Good question. He hasn’t had much practice. I’d think he’d just want the black hole info and not all of the man’s memories. I know if I could info drain other people I wouldn’t want to walk away remembering that time dr. elsing got food poisoning in indonesia or something.
Really? I’d want to take everything. The whole suite of experiences, what made that person that person. Even if it’s not the info you immediately need, surely a broader human experience will come in handy some time.
Ah, but if our collected memories have the effect of using up the available organic RAM we have, then adding a raft of someone else’s memories might lead to overload and bleed into your own…so I wonder how well it works? does it give you mental indigestion? Make it harder to sort and assess decision data? or does it make it easier…things to ponder!
There is a theory that schizophrenia is caused by a person simply remembering too much. Like, all the memories start bleeding into each other in the brain and the brain’s processing power can’t tell one from the other anymore and that’s why it sounds like someone else’s voices in your head. While in fact it’s your own memories (and you have a photographic memory that records EVERYTHING).
So yeah, absorbing too much would probably make doc go psycho. :S
No gloves? What did they do to you, Schtein?!?
But seriously, how far are we from established, white coat wearing supervillain Schtein? Feels pretty close
somewhat close. I mean. I think it’ll be a surprise.
Did Schtein just straight up murder a dude to jack his memories? Gettin’ pretty close to playing an antagonist role there, Doc.
Well this is the origin story of a super villain. But I like to see where he will go frome here.

well compared to abel he might as well be a fly, but… Well, you never know!

oh Schtein’s powers don’t really make sounds, except probably to the victim, an intense ear ringing, it’s unpleasant. But nothing to anyone else.
ahhhh. his blue contacts make his red eyes purple. clever! i suppose oppa’s genetic tune up got rid of his touch sensitvity?
No, it’s still around, he just… can’t seem… to help himself.
I wonder Schtein just drained all Dr. Elsing’s memories on making stable wormholes only or everything?
Good question. He hasn’t had much practice. I’d think he’d just want the black hole info and not all of the man’s memories. I know if I could info drain other people I wouldn’t want to walk away remembering that time dr. elsing got food poisoning in indonesia or something.
No thank you!
