Chp4 Page 20
If there is anything I have learned in life it is that the guy in the secret paramilitary-esque group with the giant goofy sunglasses is going to be the dude betraying everyone.
Probably in some kind of spooky abandoned mansion setting.
Wow, the level of drama is constantly rising. And let me express just how much I love that fourth panel. I love it. The angle, and the detail, and the lighting… it’s perfect. Another brilliantly laid-out page!
And those sunglasses are awesome, by the way.
Poor tentacle-hand guy. Not allowed in the group hug. :(
I like how (maybe subconsciously) this echoes Schtein’s arc–we first see Schtein wrapped in bandages, and we meet the character when they’re pulled off. Makes me wonder what’ll happen with Langstrom–though right now I think he’s in situation worse than death!
Oh man, I’m pulling my hair out with the suspense here! Can’t wait ’til Langstrom’s back on his feet so I can see what he can do – er, I mean, so I can boo and hiss at him some more.
Hehe, man with the shades looking suspiciously jelly~
Looking forward to the more in depth background of these (relatively) new characters :) We’ve already got a glimpse with that argument between Robert and Orville, but I want to see the expansion/continuation.
i hope the poor guy will get to see his family at least. Great job with the new page comrade, this is one of my top FIVE most favorite comics.
Considering the quality of this comic and that it didn’t rank first for you I’d really like to hear what your other top 4 are
I ranked it as one of my top five do to the characters unusual personalities and how things have turned out for them in this comic so far. the technology in this comic as well as the theories are quite intriguing as well as the plot-line of the story so far. I also like the look of the pages and the quirks of the characters as well as the humor of the writer/artist of this comic.
to answer the second part of your question, another comic i really like is “Slightly Damned” though i honestly don’t know why; maybe its because some of the characters actually remind me of certain family members at times?
Count down before he makes an attempt to escape or has a some kind of panic attack that results in the destruction of the building with some kind of sticky glue like substance in 4…3…
Ah, the CIA. It’s not a bug, it’s a FEATURE.
Wait wait wait wait…
If Schtein is the supervillain.
But this is clearly the beginning of a supervillain.
Who is the superhero? D:
*dramatic squirrel*
They’re both supervillains, and they fight each other, neither truly on the side of right, while bystanders get gouged by the shrapnel. It’s uncanny sometimes how this comic reflects real life.
D-:
I’ll admit, Dr. Schtein’s arch-nemesis being a vengeful cyborg mutant is not something I had anticipated.
