Chp7 Page 25
I’d apologize for the butts but at this point it’s probably more surprising when people have clothes on. I kid I kid.
He still has all those little injection wounds down his arms from hanging out with grandpa. Technically it hasn’t even been a week yet since then, you know.
Calling next page has an outburst along the lines of “She’s also the reason I only got one eye!”
Doc’s looking pretty hip with the casual clothes on.
“””””””hip”””””””””
I’m so glad these guys are finally able to catch up and resolve all their shit. It seems like their lives have been unknowingly intertwined these last couple years (in real time, anyways).
hey yeah kinda! Really the common thread is eliza, laurence wouldn’t work for thanatos if she hadn’t bought the bar he was working in.
The bar he was working in, or the “bar”?
well it does serve alcohol. So it is technically also a bar. But yeah Laurence was working in a brothel.
I have had the worst day today at work.
His face, second panel- you just made my day, thank you. c(=
I’m glad I could brighten your day with looks of dismay. It’s my specialty. :D
LOL. It’s kinda jarring that the Bob Marley T-shirt image, which I assume is just a copypasta with minor tweak editing, looks so… real in contrast with the cartoonish visions of actual reality. It’s almost as if reality is what’s cartoonish and vice versa! :P
I didn’t want to have to redraw it over and over for the next four pages. I realized too late this owuld have been a fantastic opportunity to inject a t-shirt I could then later sell. oh well!
it is your comic, you can edit what you want.
okay? I was kidding man
Everything I keep trying to type is boiling down to: Doc, no. Doc, plz.
The hint of butt keep making me snicker, though.
*keeps making me, whoops
I love the sneak peek at the closet full of Hawaiian shirts.
I am going to study your art to see if I can learn to draw better expressions. Your expressions are amazing. I own a copy of the book Making Faces: Drawing Expressions For Comics And Cartoons and poring of your comic is just as inspiring.
instead of that might I suggest doing portrait work of real people? That’s what I do.
I guess I DO know a real face or two around here…
That closet is mighty neatly kept. Sorted by color even.
well the shirts aren’t, but it’s hard to sort garish hawaiian shirts by color
The t-shirt is perfect unsuitable for him.
Doc, stop digging yourself in deeper. Stop making fun of your old pal Laurence, who was kind enough to take your bitchy ass home and lend you dry clothes.
Doc, you realize your old buddy could totally chuck your naked ass back out into the rainy street, yes? Your old buddy, the guy with the history of mental instability and employment as a hitman. Your old buddy who is getting really pissed off….yeah. About that…. does Schtein even know?
He doesn’t know any specifics. Laurence is cagey about stuff like that and Dr. Schtein is too self involved to really ask.
Schtein is really rocking the albino vampire look.
He worked hard to losing his his prison buffness but getting back his various addictions he has lost in prison. Truly, a man of principles. :-P
Those dots running down his shoulder and along his biceps, are they the injection marks you speak of? Or are they beauty marks, because I don’t recall seeing Schtein with bare arms before but the dots look too evenly spaced to be natural.
stringtheorycomic.com/comics/chapter-six/chp6-page… you can kinda see them here (still bleeding, too). Although, it appears I should have been looking at that page for ref instead of relying on memory, haha. Might edit this page a bit we’ll see how much this bugs me.
