Oh, I wish Doc would have watched “Shawshank Redemption” so he could have weaseled out of humiliating acts (by basically threating to bite the bald fellow’s dick off), but if that happened I suppose there wouldn’t be much plot movement.

Okay, Beckey, you are not an EXPERT of intense situations. Even though there really wasn’t any physical violence at all, you set it up so your whole audience was on edge. It probably exists in the world this is set in, but it’s not a part of the story so, you know. Haven’t given it much thought.
Even if it didn’t exist he’d still have to worry about the dozens of other communicable viruses that ravage prison populations. TB, syphilis, hepatitus, even the flu is a huge problem.
