I love the way Schtein is pushing the bags in the last panel, fingers all curled backwards, as if he’s trying to push them in without actually touching them. Nice detail.

The guy asking about his name probably doesn’t know how it’s spelled. He’s only heard it, not read it. So who knows how he’s spelling it in his head– maybe he’s assuming it’s the ~~pedantic~~ “correct” German spelling “Stein.”
