Sorry, fella, you’ve exceeded your allotted “poking around in doc and friends’ memories” time.
Is that a gas mask? Prudent, really. I wouldn’t want to be breathing unidentified Schtein dust/steam/smoke either.
it’s an oxygen mask. he’s old.
It could just be a heavy gun with a small caliber, which would actually give it less recoil than a smaller gun.
It looks like a Beretta.
You’re not as cool as you think you are, Abel. Some old guy starting doing German at you and you lose it.
ha! “doing German at you”
Honestly. . . they should have seen that coming.
Who doesn’t leave some self-defense when poking around in their grandsons’ brain?
That there was an unexpected plot twist… and interesting, to say the least!
I wonder if that means Schtein could learn to use his Opa’s brainwashing against Cain and Abel?
Holy Shit…Is Schtien channeling his gramps in panel three? cause hes doing an excellent unconscious impression of the man…just look at that frown of disapproval an disdain.
Well, it seems somebody has some strong mental anti-viral/malware installed courtesy of gramps.
Hey! Opa isn’t in black and white, he’s in color! But this is his most recent face, not a memory of younger Opa that Schtein would have had in color. That means that Opa really was inside Schtein’s head, repelling him!
nah this is younger Opa. For one he’s not totally bald, and for two he’s not green. Not that Schtein could tell he was.
What happened to Opa’s glasses in the last panel? And given Schtein and Abe are passed out, who is imagining him?
That’s what’s-his-face from the first three pages of this chapter, back in reality. Thanatos?
