Oops, sorry, Alaska. Something bad must have happened to you…
Holy moley that Eric guy just creeps me out. Here’s hoping he gets into an “unfortunate situation”!
sorry for the double post, but I just noticed the fallout bobblehead! AWESOME!
And snow globe! The Henry guy seems rather charming…
someone better snatch that up. Permanent main skill points!
Eric creeps me out. Don’t do it Osgood! Unless he’s taking you to Thantos. Then you should definitely get in the car. Probably not the planned destination, though. Something tells me Eric wouldn’t make it out of a quick lunch with Delia with the Doc involved.
The blue glow in panels 6,7 and 8 is actually Eric’s creepiness ionizing the air around him. Closely related to Cherenkov-radiation, but less deadly. Instead it makes the victim deeply aversed yet unable to resist seemingly non-romantic initiatives.
I love the subtle comic book look panel 4!
It’s always creepy when an ex tries to reconnect, but man Eric is sure lookin’ skeezey here (Ō=Ō’)
I just finished re-reading the whole thing. God, I didn’t remember the first chapters were so good! Schtein and Delia were so cute together. You’re going to print this comic, aren’t you? I’ll gladly give you my money for a physical copy of your work. Or at least make posters! You have some beautiful artworks in your tumblr.
Oh, and can I ask you a question? I was wondering if you’re going to an art school or you learnt to draw all by yourself.
I think I took a total of two college art classes, but no, I’m mainly self taught. I just try and crack the whip constantly on myself since I don’t have grades or whatever. Lots of practice and observation.
I guess that’s what happens to a state when their inhabitants can see Russia from their houses.
Also panel 4 is beautiful.
one of the exon red paint tankers sprung a leak.
Love that Schtien smile
oh my bad, I spelled their last name wrong, sorry
Eric’s voice in my head… I can’t even put into words how creeper it sounds. Especially in that third panel. Love the little posters in the background. Super cool. Especially the cheezy carpool club one
true patriots conserve gasoline and don’t clog up highways. At least in this comic. Seems the opposite in real life…
I shall drive 47mph in the left lane of Loop 1 in honor of this comment.
I was like “What is that, is that Alaska? OH GOD, WHAT HAPPENED TO ALASKA?!”
Interesting posters on them there cubicle walls….
Noooo not Alaska how could you D:
It’s okay, I forgive you because of those Eric expressions there. And also the coloring. And also also everything else.
BECK, THE WAY YOU DRAW HANDS, it amazes me
Eric is an undead Langstrom. He’s like a zombie who thinks he a ladies’ man.
I can feel and hear that tile floor. It’s so good. So natural.
since I couldn’t find it anywhere (and tumblr doesn’t let me ask questions):
would you put a brief overwiew of the tecnicalitites into your info? What program is ST done in, with which steps? That would be sooo kind of you (:
also, what brush/es do you use for sketching?
that would take me a while to answer. I’ll have to go into the steps and brushes later on maybe. I use Paint Tool SAI for most of the art, and Photoshop for other steps that SAI is not capable of doing like the text and saving nice for the web.
thanks a lot! (:
I really like the colors in the Schtein panel!
The shadows in panel one don’t make sense. If each character had a strong spotlight from straight overhead to create that shadow, I’d expect other lighting effects. Hallways generally cast mild and multiple shadows from the multiple overhead fixtures.
Before this page, I never dreampt that we could have a character creepier than Armastus.
But here he is. And I wish he would go far away really soon.
Delia certainly has a type, doesn’t she? Not that I can blame her, I’ve been known to be a bit charmed by egotistical creeps myself…
I think it’s more that she’s attracted to intelligent authority figure types, not so much the creep part. She’s hot for teacher. :I
