I don’t want to blab my secrets away but it honestly takes me less time to paint natural scenery than it does to draw buildings, so those rocks took about an hour and a half I think
which is good because I got like five or so pages of them left to paint! :D
I gotta say. The Doc.’s collection reminds me of a vampire. Nice.
So will the Doc. use his powers to win or will dear old opa save him? Or is it a third party/group of never before seen characters?
I read that second panel as “did you satisfy your curiosity regarding Jesus?” And that, combined with Schtein’s smugly unimpressed face, had me laughing for way too long.
I think Mr. Teleporting Wonderman With Insta-Knockout Powers (Abel) must’ve teleported or otherwise transported them to a quarry to uhh dispose of them. And they are still in a pickle, because he is excessively stronger than they are. So that’s why they’re not even unconscious or anything, because he doesn’t need them to be unconscious to have a huge advantage over them.
The question of the moment is “Who will save them from Abel The Immortal?”
They’re probably going to bury them. Still not the best way to get rid of a corpse I’d imagine. I mean I’m sure they’re a good reason for it but why doesn’t anybody use chemical baths in medias.
I doubt they know schtein took it from the morgue guy. And Schtein ain’t tellin’! My favorite blazer I took from a drug dealer after he left it at a friend’s house when he skipped town. heh heh heh. The perfect crime. B]
Nice 2nd panel background! And Panel 1 for that matter, dig the back ground art… and Abels handkerchief XD
A nice start to 2018 Grundy!
TFW you slave away and make beautiful art of crumbling rock strata… just to fill some dead space in the background of a shrunk down comic panel.

Also is that water in the background of the first panel or just a drop off int a ravine?
there is water but you can’t see it in that shot

Whooooa, I don’t understand! They were in a hell of a pickle at the end of last chapter… wonder what happened?
pretty sure abel just transported them to this quarry in order to kill them, doesn’t seem like there’s been any significant timeskip to me.
there hasn’t been, it’s like 30 minutes later

Panel 3 is definitely hand porn just sayin
As far as I am concerned ST is “Hand Porn: The Webcomic”, so.
you guys are too kind. Hands are always a grief to draw, but like a satisfying one if that makes sense
Put some alligators or pigs at the bottom of that rock quarry, then sure!
Otherwise they are just gonna kind of…rot there. In the open.

Same reason they don’t use the real chemical ingredients for bombs.
You’d think they’d take the jacket back.

Everyone is very casual about this situation that is about to end in multiple attempted murder.
business as usual for ol abel I guess
On a related note, a patch of nettles growing in the middle of a field is the sign of a buried corpse. So now you know.
god my yard must have had so many corpses buried in it then
Doc is looking good in panel 2
There’s something inexplicably hilarious about that expression in the second panel.
is it the >:I face
That’s a quarry? Damn, must have been abandoned for ages.
